What the catalog photograph shows
The catalog image combines a near-black background with prominent light and warm-toned veins. Its visual effect comes from that contrast rather than a uniform black field. Search names such as Black Gold and Black and Gold refer to this catalog entry; we keep the printed name, Black n Gold Marble, with the photograph.
Give the veining a deliberate role
For a feature panel, look at where the strongest veins would fall after cutting. A narrow border may reveal only fragments of the pattern, while a larger panel shows more of its movement. Ask to see the full current slab and discuss the cutting position before approving fabrication.
If combining it with pale stone, compare the actual samples together. Ziarat White offers a light direction; China Verona gives a warmer starting point.
Plan joins and edges
Strong veins make join placement especially visible. Discuss the panel layout, exposed edges and adjacent finishes with the installer. Matching across pieces depends on the selected material and cutting plan; it should not be assumed from one photograph. See planning a stone feature wall.
