Build simple protection into the room
Use a doormat where grit is carried in and protective pads where furniture moves. Keep a suitable cloth and the recommended cleaner available so spills do not become a reason to improvise. For counters, use boards and trivets as part of everyday use.

Discuss whether sealing is appropriate for your selected stone and finish, which product is proposed and how it should be maintained. A treatment does not turn every surface into a stain-proof or maintenance-free material. Keep the installer’s product details with your project records.
